Here at Alpha Moving Assistance we strive to give everyone the best possible experience with our services. Moving can be tough and figuring out where to start sometimes can be challenging. Remember: You pay by the hour for our standard services. Having all of your items packed, wrapped, and prepared to be moved when we arrive will save you both time and money. Below are some tips that we have on how you can be best prepared when our Alpha Moving Assistants arrive:
Make sure that all of your small items are packed away properly into boxes or bins. Carrying small items individually can increase the time of a job considerably.
Empty all contents out of drawers in dressers, desks, and cabinets and pack them away. This will not only make the furniture lighter and easier to move safely, but will also keep the contents safer.
Take out any removable glass from furniture, cabinet doors, etc. Wrapping the glass throughly will help prevent glass from breaking during the move/drive.
Have bed frames broken down and ready to move. (Taping bedrails together at both ends makes them much easier to carry)
Create clear pathways for our moving assistants to move through when carrying your items. Clutter and miscellaneous items can take additional time to work around when moving heavier items.
Make sure all pets and small children are kept out of high traffic areas so that they do not get in the way of our moving assistants.
Make sure all televisions are dismounted, disconnected, and properly packed. This includes any sensitive sound system equipment.
If we are unloading, having your items/boxes labeled with where you want it put will keep us from having to ask repetitively.
